Alice Roberti (Member) is California Native from the Hupa Tribe of the Round Valley Reservation in Covelo. She is an Alumna of SRJC, Sonoma State University (K-8, Multiple Subject teaching credential and BA in English Literature), and Texas Woman's University (MA, US History). She has been teaching U.S. History, Women’s History, and World History at Santa Rosa Junior College since 2005 and is also a Professor of History for the University of Maryland's overseas program in Egypt, Portugal, and England. She is a successful mystery writer under the name Ali Roberti and published her first novel, Nevermore, in 2010. In her Meg Ravenhill Mysteries series, the main character is a Native woman.

When she is not teaching, Professor Roberti loves to travel. She’s spent time in Thailand and Europe and lived in Egypt for two years. She is the proud mother of three children.
